Kate Campbell & The Martini Kings
About Kate Campbell: Recently seen in Gone Girl, and nominated for a Maverick Movie Award for best supporting actress for her role in the feature film Badsville, Kate is a diverse performer whose immense love for storytelling, music, and art began at an early age while growing up in rural Ontario, Canada. Now, an international singer and recording artist, Kate has enjoyed working with some of the industry's most celebrated talents: Robby Krieger of The Doors, Jeff Goldblum and his Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, jazz pianist Andy Langham, and award-winning jazz vibraphonist, Nick Mancini, to name a few. Last year, Kate released a jazz/torch EP entitled i am that girl. She also sings regularly with Michael Holmes and his jazz trio at the Purple Room Supper Club in Palm Springs. Kate is also a passionate and talented writer whose work has just been optioned by Buck Productions, (based in Toronto, Vancouver, and LA), who will produce a six part mini-series, written and created by Kate, about the women pilots of WWII, inspired by her grandmother who was a Canadian pilot. An aviation enthusiast, Kate has spent years researching and interviewing women pilots across North America, including those who served in WWII, and is now on her way to obtaining her private pilots license. About The Martini Kings: The Martini Kings are beloved by all for their suave style and authentic West Coast Jazz sound with an exotic combination of retro classics, jazzy standards, and bossa novas. There isnt a style of music that the bands frontman, Tony Marsico, isnt skilled at playing. From hard rock to country western, Marsico has performed with some very famous names, from Sammy Davis Jr. to Bob Dylan, as well as creating his own fame. He formed The Martini Kings, with his brother, Frank Marsico, in 1982, back before lounge music was even a thing, so mark that one up to being a musical visionary. The Martini Kings have played everywhere and have had their music as part of the soundtrack of hit TV shows such as Six Feet Under and Entourage. Theyve performed for everyone from Oscar winner actor/director Clint Eastwood, Kim Kardashian, Arnold Schwarzenegger, author Stephen King, to Grammy superstar Carole King. The exceptionally talented members of this band have credits on gold and platinum records. The Martini Kings have produced a wealth of albums, Smile being their 20th. Its also their first full-length vocal album. Dinner Reservations: 6pm, Show: 8pm. Tickets: $30 and $25 PLEASE NOTE All ticketed shows require an advance ticket purchase.
