Christopher Hawthorne [ADC Lecture]

All Day, Jan 24, 2019

January 24, 2019 Annenberg Theater

On January 24, 2019, ADC welcomes Christopher Hawthorne, the Chief Design Officer for the City of Los Angeles. Mayor Eric Garcetti chose Hawthorne for this newly created position, in March of 2018, to help improve the quality of civic architecture and urban design. A leading voice in the design world, Hawthorne previously served as the architecture critic for the Los Angeles Times since 2004. Join us to learn about his vision, successes, and challenges of his first year leading this important civic position. This event is free and open to the public.
ADC thanks our 2018-19 Lecture Series sponsors; Thomas C. Given and Jeffrey Wright.
