The event offers delicious food and drinks, family-friendly games, raffles, and a special presentation about AMP’s mission to make quality music education accessible to every young person in the Coachella Valley.

About the Academy of Musical Performance (AMP):

The Academy of Musical Performance (AMP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit music-education program based in the Coachella Valley that empowers young musicians through vibrant, contemporary music instruction and performance experience. Founded in 2015, the organization provides immersive “rock-band” style programs, private and group lessons, instrument-loan opportunities and performance showcases. AMP fosters creativity, communication, collaboration and social responsibility among students ages 8-18.

Since its founding, AMP has been dedicated to making high-quality music education accessible regardless of financial barriers — providing scholarships and outreach programs across desert-communities from Palm Springs to Indio, and equipping youth with skills that extend far beyond the stage.
