Jason “Malletman” Taylor, jazz recording artist and protégé of the late, legendary Lionel Hampton, has a fresh, “explosive” approach to playing the vibraphone!

Jason is a Grammy nominee recognized for his unique presentation of jazz, R&B and swing, having developed his own signature sound called Vibrafunk.

In addition to being a talented recording artist, Jason is President of Mallet Records, Inc., a company dedicated to keeping real music alive. He’s also a music clinician who’s passionate about inspiring/educating youth about the beauty and wonder of keyboard percussion instruments.

Jazzville at the Cascade Lounge offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting with pristine acoustics and plush seating.
