Celebrating the Art and Images of Astronomy, in all expressions. Modern Astrophotography meets giant screen, high definition projections, in front of a live audience in Joshua Tree, California. The highlight of the event is to celebrate the art of astrophotography in the best possible expression of amateur astronomy. The Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theater is an open air venue times 7pm-11pm Sept 2-5
Talks and slide shows presented by renowned artists and photographers will share in a Festival of Astronomy Imaging Celebration.
Worldwide submissions from astronomy imagers will be solicited. Historically significant images from the past will be highlighted.
High quality telescopes will be aimed at interesting deep space objects for your viewing pleasure!
Guided Star Tour will point out the Celestial Celebrities of the evening,
