With a degree in Music Education and Instrumental Performance from the Hartt School of Music, Andrew’s path has led him through a diverse range of musical styles. From classical Beethoven Sonatas and Rachmaninov Preludes to the spirited rhythms of Balkan and Roma (Gypsy) folk music, Andrew’s musical exploration knows no bounds.

As a full-time public school music teacher, Andrew imparts his wisdom and passion for music to aspiring musicians, emphasizing that the journey of musical discovery is unique for everyone. He believes in the power of music to transcend genres and styles, encouraging his students to connect deeply with their instruments and the music they create.

Outside of teaching, Andrew is a seasoned performer, having graced stages at prestigious events like Outside Lands and Burning Man. His dedication to mastering the accordion and composing original music in the Romanian “Lautareasca” style showcases his commitment to artistic growth and innovation.
