DESCRIPTION:The Stephen Baumbach Gallery proudly presents “Creative Sizzle”. \nWe’re making this summer even hotter with a special collection of original works from some of the hottest artists in the desert.  This group show features abstract impressionist Roberto Amaral and five other Coachella Valley artists. \nThe exhibit runs from June 7 to July 29\, 2023.  Summer gallery hours are Monday – Friday\, 10am-2pm. \nJoin us at the opening reception on Wednesday\, June 7\, 2023 – 5pm-7pm\, to coincide with the Backstreet Art District’s First Wednesday Art Walk.  Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided. \nThe gallery is located at 4116 Matthew Drive\, Palm Springs\, (CA  92264).  During road construction\, please access the gallery using the service roads around The Estate Sale.  For more information\, please call 760-501-6806. \n

DESCRIPTION:Jazzville Palm Springs presents Adam Moezinia’s  Folk Element Trio at the Cascade Lounge inside Agua Caliente Casino.\n\n\nJazz guitarist Adam Moezinia has been performing regularly with his band Folk Element Trio for the past six years. The trio is rooted in the jazz tradition but is influenced by folk music from all over the world including West Africa\, South Africa\, the Caribbean and the UK\, even Appalachia. Come out for an evening of sublime instrumental jazz by this young virtuoso guitarist and his world-class rhythm section. \nA native of os Angeles\, Adam moved to New York City to study at The Juilliard School under a full tuition scholarship. Since then\, he’s worked with many greats such as Freddy Cole\, Mike LeDonne\, Cecile Mclorin Salvant\, George Coleman and Kenny Washington at venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center\, The Blue Note\, Birdland and Smoke. \nThe Folk Element Trio is Dan Montgomery on bass\, Ethan Furman on drums and Adam Moezinia on guitar. \nJazzville at the Cascade Lounge offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting with pristine acoustics and plush seating. \nThings to know before you go: \n• Must be 21 or over. \n• Doors open at 6pm with a 7pm showtime. \n• Drinks served throughout the show. \n• No refunds except for COVID-related shutdown. \n• Free covered parking in attached garage. \nWe cannot take cash at the door (casino policy). We can accept credit cards at the door if seats are available. \nOur shows can sell out\, so pick your seats today! If you ignore the seating chart\, then the best available seats will be assigned to you. \nNo one under 21 admitted. Tickets are non-refundable. Line-up subject to change without notice. \nBoth the casino and lounge are non-smoking environments. \nFood is not served in the Cascade Lounge but can be brought in from any of the casino restaurants. We do have a full bar with no drink minimums.
